My name is João Rosas but you can call me PINX. I'm a brazilian multimedia artist and tattooer based in Lisbon, Portugal. 

All tattoos age with the skin and that's what I think it's the most beautiful and powerful part of it. Embracing the passage of time in the design means planning it for decades in the future. I craft images that are not just placed on the skin, but are designed to live and evolve with it.

My newest invention -the TATTOOLS- are a set of glass sculptures that present a new way for designing tattoos. This isn't mass-produced art, it's a bespoke design generated by the conversation between my tools and your contours. The result is a tattoo that couldn't exist on anyone else.

The tattooing ritual is very personal and the top priority is to make it happen in a safe, clean, controlled and comfortable environment for everyone and everybody.
